Resilience in schools with Laughology FLIP-it Thinking sessions

Victoria Maitland, along with Alison and Danielle, made a joyful return to Star Primary school this month, working with the whole school on FLIP-it Thinking

Victoria was last at Star in 2018/19, to take years 1-6 through the FLIP method, as well as teachers and support staff. These most recent visits have seen the process start all over again and it’s been wonderful for some of the older children, who remember the first round!

Star Primary has a wonderful whole school approach to FLIP-it Thinking. Posters are up in every classroom and the methodology is part of the school culture as a whole. It’s truly great to see everyone working together to encourage a growth mindset and resilience.

Through high energy games, role play and sharing ideas, students were able to explore the power of their imaginations and understand how believing in yourself positively affects your confidence and achievements.
