Get Busy is a tech wizard company and offers agile software solutions for businesses. Their magic formula might be a bit of a mystery, but one thing's clear: they've got a spell for customer satisfaction, and it's working wonders as they're growing.
As the company skyrockets to success, it's like a rapid expansion party where both the fresh-faced and the seasoned pros are trying to dance to different tunes – a real-life jigsaw puzzle of working styles, if you will!
In this half-day workshop, Selina Brown supported the team at Get Busy to focus on boosting their self-awareness about their personal communication styles, particularly during those nail-biting moments of stress. The goal? To enhance their chit-chat skills through top-notch listening and identifying their go-to thought and action patterns.
And guess what? It's all tied to social and emotional smarts. For a bit of fun, we penned fictional love letters in a unique style to charm any would-be suitors. This quirky task shed light on the pitfalls of miscommunication and unveiled strategies for crystal-clear conversations, all while playing to people’s communication strong suits and spotting those pesky weak spots amidst the drama of stressful exchanges.
