Our spotlight on... Sarah Creegan
Sarah Creegan has been called exceptional, amazing, thought-provoking, fun, and funny. Some of those comments were from our customers, not just her mum!
Sarah is a natural facilitator who builds warm, friendly relationships with audiences. She prides herself on getting to know - and starting to understand - people in the room immediately. She hates to be a show-off, but as long as they arrive a few at a time, rather than in a last-minute stampede, she can remember up to 30 people’s names from the start. What a party trick.
Sarah really enjoys delivering one-off events but especially loves working with groups over a period of time on behaviour and culture change programmes. She says it’s because you can really see the difference that these sessions make, but we think it’s because, when you’ve been working with people over several months, you get lots of hugs at the end.
Having had a varied career before she became one of Laughology’s lead facilitators and consultants, Sarah is happy working with people from all types of industries and organisations. In a past life, she was a leader herself, with a team of 70 people, so she truly understands the highs of leadership, as well as the challenges.
As a creative thinker, Sarah has been instrumental in developing the content for Laughology’s ‘It’s Only Banter’ workshop. And her public webinars are always on topics close to her heart, such as: ‘Act Your Shoe Size, Not Your Age – Positive Thinking for Middle-Aged Happiness’ and ‘Where Did I Put My Eyebrows? Aka Stress Awareness’.
She’s a firm advocate of getting menopause awareness training into all businesses and schools, with people giving the following feedback on these sessions:
“Sarah was a delightful, very professional breath of fresh air. She certainly put the laugh factor in Laughology and delivered a very knowledgeable and useful session with good tips for us to take on personally and as a team.”
“So engaging and enjoyable. Sarah brought the content to life - not often you leave work training feeling genuinely happy and like it benefitted.”
Sarah loves telling stories to help people understand and remember the learning. If you haven’t heard the one about her well-woman check or when she went to the loo on a train and thought she’d locked the door, then what can we say? Run away, now!
When she isn’t busy donning her cape and delivering keynotes, workshops and programmes, Sarah can be found out and about watching sport or having a giggle and a cheeky glass of wine with friends and family. She also loves sunshine and mini breaks - if any businesses or schools in Spain are reading this.
