Laughter and Humour Keynote for HC-One

They promote and are experts in memory care, nursing, residential and specialist care.With more than twenty thousand caring people who deliver round-the-clock care and support,
their motto is to create a culture that actively encourages simple kindness.

Care homes have been hit hard over the past two years but teams have carried on and given the best care and support to residents in the most difficult times.  So HC-One wanted to show their managers and some of the teams just how important they are. In November they put on their first company conference since lockdown and invited Laughology’s Head of Happiness, Stephanie Davies, to deliver a keynote on the power of humour and laughter. 

Stephanie didn’t have to work too hard at all, as the kindness and atmosphere in the room was already high. With a live audience of nearly 500, Stephanie could barely contain her excitement sharing an ‘outstanding’ keynote (their words).

With loads of much-deserved laughter and enjoyment in the room, the managers were left with some tools and techniques to take back to the homes and share with their teams.
