Season’s Greetings to you from the Laughology team
This year, our fabulous Christmas card was designed by Eleanor Stollery, a pupil at St Mary’s Hampton CE Primary School.
Things that have made Eleanor happy over the past year are:·
- Providing the voice for ‘Lark' in Channel 5’s pre-school animation series called ‘Milo’
- Appearing as Tiny Tim in The Old Vic’s ‘A Christmas Carol’ (for the third consecutive year)
- Being a guest speaker on a streamed event, alongside (wait for it) Stephen Fry, Hayley Mills & Dame Judi Dench
- Becoming Head Girl at school
- Producing Laughology’s winning Christmas Card design – she had to say that, didn’t she!
Eleanor has achieved all of this despite having an inoperable brain tumour, which has caused her to become severely visually impaired (blind), as well as facing numerous rounds of chemotherapy over the years. Eleanor doesn’t let this define her and she carries on with life as normally as is feasibly possible.
We think she’s pretty marvellous, don’t you?

One more thing… we’re off on our festive break
To help us come back in 2022 brighter, energised and funnier (yes that’s possible), Laughology HQ and the gaggle of Laughologists (which is the official collective noun for a group of Laughologists) will be on a break over the festive period.
We’ll be resting our funny bones between midday 24th December and 4th January, when we’ll be back with a spring in our step and a bunch of bad jokes cribbed from our crackers.
