Stephanie Davies Supports BUPA’s New Learning Programme Launch 

Laughology’s Head of Happiness and CEO, Stephanie Davies, recently supported BUPA in launching their new learning programme.  

BUPA, a leading healthcare organisation, recognises the myriad ways people can reach their potential. Beyond traditional courses, learning can come from mentoring, volunteering, and cross-departmental projects.  

Stephanie was invited to share her unconventional career journey, illustrating the diverse paths to professional fulfilment. From stand-up comedy to founding Laughology and working with global giants to create positive workplace cultures, Stephanie’s story is proof that career growth isn't always a straight climb up the ladder. Instead, it can involve sideways moves and stretch roles that enrich one's skills and experiences.  

In her session, Stephanie emphasised the importance of curiosity and thinking differently about career development. She encouraged participants to recognise what they can control in their careers, creating greater engagement and satisfaction in their current roles.  

This approach aligns with BUPA’s ethos of self-directed learning, empowering their teams to take charge of their growth while being supported by the organisation. 

Stephanie’s talk was attended by over 60 BUPA employees. She inspired the audience to consider new learning opportunities and proactive steps in their career journeys.
