Learning at Work Week (16th-22nd May) aims to spotlight the importance and benefits of continual learning and development.
It’s led nationally by Campaign for Learning, and this year’s theme is ‘Create the Future’, exploring how lifelong learning at work can help us all personally and collectively create our futures – from achieving personal goals to shaping our lives and communities and achieving organisational ambitions.
Why Learning at Work Week is good for our wellbeing
Learning keeps your brain buzzing and your mind sharp as a tack. And although we joke about a lot here at Laugh Towers, we take learning seriously because it opens up a whole new world of possibilities. They say, ‘You learn something new every day,’ and for Learning at Work Week, you really can – and we’re on hand to help.
You could learn how to cook something new, juggle or even master Eine Kleine Nachtmusik by Mozart on the kazoo! The possibilities are endless! But if you don’t want to do any of these things, you could use some of the learning stuff Laughology is offering for free, and there’s no possibility of poisoning someone – hurrah!
Here’s how we’re getting involved – and giving you plenty to get involved with, too:
- You can attend our FREE webinar with Kerry Leigh on the 16th May – Liberate with Safety: Understanding psychological safety, why it’s important and how to create it.
- We’ll also be joining in the fun and sharing more resources on our social channels, so keep an eye on these too. And if you’re not following us yet, you can find us on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. Come and join us!
- Use our free resources on Mental Health and Wellbeing and Leadership and Management
- We’re also sharing our handy career planning tool to help you with some of the skills needed to create your future
And this is all for free, enjoy!
