Manchester Convention Centre have been flat out since live events thankfully re-surfaced. In a rare snippet of quiet time this summer, they wanted to get their people together to understand unconscious bias better.
Kerry Leigh spent two days with two groups helping them discover that we all have biases – it’s a safety behaviour to want to be drawn to people we perceive to be ‘like us’. Once this awareness was developed, they then spent the afternoon together honing their listening skills and creating ideas to implement at the centre to reduce bias.
