Stephanie Davies, CEO of Laughology helps raise funds to build an Education and Refugee centre in Uganda

I am always up for a challenge and I’m passionate about education – so when a friend asked me if I would like to help build an education centre and women’s refuge in Uganda I said yes before I knew the full details.

Only when re-reading the email (*note to self – must learn to be more detailed) did I realise it would involve being strapped to a plane and doing what is known as wing walking.

So on 13th June a group of us – now nicknamed ‘The Wing Nuts’ are flying high in a hope to raise money to build an education centre, specifically aimed at women and a safe place where they can bring their children to take part in a variety of early years programmes. If you would like to find out more and even sponsor the cause please go to my just giving page.

Every little bit really does help and the centre and the programmes it will deliver will positively impact generations to come.
