It takes some time to become a Laughologist.
“How hard can it be?” I hear you shout, “Anyone can tell a joke!”
As Stephanie Davies (Head of Happiness and Founder) explained to her mum many times, it’s a lot more involved than that. We like our Laughologists to have loads of knowledge on brain stuff as well as behaviour change and learning. They’ve also got to know how humour and laughter can have a positive on these things; that’s a lot to take in…mum!
Not only that, but you expect our Laughologists to be funny when delivering brainy stuff (advertising standards tell us we have to as well), and we want to make you laugh. It’s what you expect.
So after a lot of training, observing and learning to be funny, Louisa and Jim have officially passed the ‘Becoming a Laughologist’ programme. Cheers, all round. So we’re letting them lose to bring laughter and learning to the masses.
