Neurodiversity Awareness at Chetwood

In a world where understanding and acceptance thrive, neurodiversity awareness is more important than ever. Chetwood Financial Services wanted to celebrate this and hear more about how they can tap into the superpowers of neurodiversity. Head of Happiness and Laughology CEO Stephanie Davies is best placed to talk about this from her personal experience. (You can watch her keynote here)

Being Dyslexic has been a blessing and a curse. Her early school years suffered, leading to low grades and her nearly dropping out. It was only when she found performing arts and was diagnosed with dyslexia in her 20s that she realised things could be different.

Neurodiversity awareness includes insight and empathy, and it’s all about embracing the beautiful kaleidoscope of human minds, ensuring everyone feels valued, supported and celebrated for their unique way of seeing the world.

As Stephanie puts it, “We’re all stars in the comedy of life, and neurodiversity awareness helps us tune into each other’s channels. It’s like finding the remote control to understanding.”

Through interactive quizzes, pictures and diverse training to include everyone, Laughology’s Neurodiversity Awareness workshop bridges the gap between different minds, showing how we can work together better and the huge benefits of being consciously inclusive.

The training encourages organisations, schools, and communities to embrace diversity in all its splendid forms. So whether it’s dyslexia or dancing to the beat of ADHD or autism or any other neurodiversity, you’re a valuable piece in the jigsaw puzzle in every part of society.
