Laughology delivers a session at Vlerick Business School in Belgium

It was a delight to be invited to Vlerick Business School in Belgium to deliver a Laughology session on 10 June at the institute’s 12th Vlerick HR day; a day which comprises of various specialists sharing their insights into aspects of HR.

The international audience will be a great challenge for Laughology, but we’re up for it as we have delivered in many countries including Germany, Israel, Malta and does the Isle of Man count?

We are often asked if what we do translates globally as sometimes jokes and styles of humour can be lost in translation or even worse, misunderstood? However, the focus of Laugholgy is mind-set. Quite simply it is a form of positive psychology. It is a set of techniques using humour as a processing and communication tool to adopt positive thinking and behaviour. As such, it is very transferable.

The benefits of looking at life, situations and work using various Laughology methods as a way to filter information and as a form of emotional intelligence is that it is useable in any walk of life. There really is a science behind it too. Research proves the effectiveness of having a positive focused workforce no matter where you are in the world. With our unique approach to communication, development and thinking, we help organisations and individuals shift focus. And what better way to prove Laughology really is a universal tool than to deliver in a different country.

Laughology delivers on a variety of conference topics and we have put together a list of the most recent hot topics for you to look at on our website. (Scroll down) We can also design topics that are bespoke and deliver exciting conference improvisation sessions that include your messages. Just chat to us about your ideas.
