Kerry Leigh delivered a Growth Mindset keynote to 180 leaders at a Siemens Leadership conference in Manchester last month.
Siemens are passionate about innovation, hence choosing to take a look into the neuroscience of learning and growth mindset. Kerry shared a story from a parents’ evening where a teacher had told her that her 13-year-old daughter was doing so well at English ‘she couldn’t possibly do any better.’ Language can be limiting, even when we are being well-meaning and this keynote created some fun and food-for-thought on how leaders can tweak their language and behaviours to enhance innovation.
