Growth mindset and Flip it at King

Laughologist Dave Keeling loves a fridge magnet and so leapt at the chance to hot-foot it to Barcelona for a half-day event with King, the makers of cross-platform app and game sensation Candy Crush.

The international audience represented HR across the business and were treated to an afternoon of FLIP it thinking and how to develop a growth mindset.

The session was designed to give delegates an overview of the FLIP model of thinking. Accompanying this was an introduction to growth mindset, how the brain works, what gets in the way of thinking and systems to help us think more effectively and positively.

As it was an afternoon session (notoriously known in our industry as the graveyard shift), Dave made sure the workshop was full of practical breakouts, conversations, laughs and reflection.

The sessions went down a storm and Dave returned home from Barcelona with a happy heart, a red forehead and a lovely fridge magnet.
