Gibraltar CIPD, the future of work

Stephanie Davies proved that when it comes to commitment to the client, Laughologists will go to the ends of the Earth – or at least to Malaga Airport.

She had an epic journey through the snow to get to Gibraltar for the Rock’s CIPD conference. In what turned out to be a 12-hour journey Stephanie braved sub-zero temperatures, a three-hour delay without a toilet break and a diversion up the coast of Spain.

When she finally arrived at the venue the Gibraltar government had advised people to stay at home because of severe weather conditions. But it would take more than a storm to keep delegates from their appointment with Laughology and they arrived in their droves to hear Stephanie deliver a session on the future of work and thinking differently. She even improvised through a power cut.

It was the second year running Stephanie had been invited to the Gibraltar CIPD conference and her session looked at a range of issues including how work has become a thing we do, and how to create a diverse innovative working environment.
