Gatehouse Bank: Making Inclusion Part of Everyday Leadership

Inclusion isn’t just a nice-to-have at Gatehouse Bank, it’s a cornerstone of how they want to lead and grow. That’s why they’ve partnered with Laughology once again, this time to run a three-month inclusion programme designed to bring their leadership development and equality and inclusion strategy to life.

The programme, led by Laughologist Louisa Rodriguez, is about turning big ideas into everyday actions. Over the coming months, Louisa is working with people across the bank to explore what inclusion really looks like in practice — from leadership decisions to daily conversations.

The series of interactive workshops covers three essential themes:

  • Building and Leading Inclusive Cultures – making inclusion part of the everyday rhythm of work.
  • Psychological Safety and Allyship – creating spaces where people feel safe to speak up – and supported when they do.
  • Courageous Conversations – equipping teams with the tools to tackle tricky topics with confidence and respect.

The programme will not only support Gatehouse Bank’s current leadership and inclusion goals but also lay the foundations for long-term cultural change. The aim? An organisation where inclusion isn’t just a slide in a presentation — it’s lived and felt across every team, every day.
