Creativity and innovation workshop for RNIB

The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is a UK-wide charity dedicated to helping the visually impaired and raising awareness about sight loss. Similar to other major charities, it’s important for them to enhance their fundraising and discover innovative methods of engaging with the public.

One of the main objectives of our session with the team at RNIB was to increase creativity and innovation, which would help continue to boost the charity’s visibility.

Selina Brown answered the call and led a fantastic 90-minute workshop that turned brain exploration into a party, showing how mindset can be a game-changer for imagination and innovation. We’re big on giggles, so we played some creativity-boosting games.

And the crowd-pleaser? A game based on ‘bisociation’ theory, which is all about making odd couples out of unrelated objects. Selina randomly picked two items in the room, and voilà, RNIB were cooking up fresh innovations in a matter of minutes. Okay, okay, the team didn’t manage to solve world peace, but everyone got a taste of how playtime can spice up their work life with new perspectives and ways of thinking.
