Comedy Charity Night for Claire House Hospice

Back in November, Kerry Leigh hosted the annual Laughology Comedy Awards to raise much-needed funds for Claire House Hospice in Liverpool.

Eight willing participants put themselves forward to take part in the event. None of them had any previous experience of doing stand-up comedy and Kerry provided a four-session course to teach and support them.

Each volunteer wrote and practised their own script, which they then performed to a live audience. Laughology’s Juliette Yardley was one of the judges, along with last year’s winner and participants from previous years.

The evening raised an amazing £3000. Well done to all that took part.
