Bausch and Lomb has never been one to rest in its laurels. As one of the oldest continually operating businesses in the US, the optical products company has continued to grow and develop since 1853.
And 2016 was another good year for the UK office, so at their annual update in January they called in Laughology for a session designed to help their high performing teams strive to be even better. We delivered one of our trademark dynamic, thought-provoking sessions focussed particularly on mindset.
We encouraged the delegates to think about next goals and how to build on success. With our help, they planned step-by-step strategy to enable them to get even better. One of our favourite illustrations of teamwork, which we showed at the session, is a video of a Formula One pit stop. We use it to show how seamlessly things can work when a team acts in perfect unison.
In the session, we also looked at how mindset can help with challenges and gave delegates tools to take away.
The company was so pleased with the results, we are now organising a sequel session focussed on leaders and how they can give effective feedback to ensure that company-wide growth is sustainable.
