September is peak season for inset days as teachers and pupils head back from the summer hols.
This year we have been busier than ever and delivered ten inset days in the first week alone. The team covered topics which included creating how to create Happy Centred Schools, resilience and growth mind-set for teaching and learning as well as the amazing brain and much more.
We also helped one of the schools we worked with to draw up their school improvement plan, which is the blueprint every school has to have to show Ofsted how they plan to develop in the future. The plan includes aims and goals. Innovative schools design their plans consensually, drawing on expertise and opinions from all staff.
Often in such circumstances it helps to have an external facilitator who can guide proceedings and question and develop ideas, which is where Laughology comes in.
