Coppice School in Doncaster is a community day school for pupils aged 3 to 19 years with severe learning difficulties, autism and challenging behaviour.
It is a hugely rewarding place doing amazing work. The staff there go above and beyond, sometimes in very challenging situations. Laughology was invited to deliver a workshop to over 100 teachers and support staff and we spent a day with them developing practical skills to help with resilience.
We focused on the FLIP model flip and also introduced some of the elements of the Happy-Centered Schools programme and hope to work with them further in the future.
