Dave Keeling has always fancied himself as a bit of a romantic, so he was the natural choice to play educational match-maker for 300 members of staff from two colleges entering into a partnership.
Dave facilitated an event with staff from Hathershaw College and Oldham Sixth Form College, which are about to enter into a formal partnership through the establishment of a Multi Academy Trust. The twilight session Dave facilitated was the first time staff from both establishments had all been together. Dave deftly provided the key message of good teaching and pastoral care and also reassured colleagues that change can be a positive experience. The throng of perky staff were treated to a fast-paced collaborative, 90-minute session on curiosity, the art of engagement and laughter and humour as a tool for change. We wish them a long and happy relationship.
