Vicky Maitland delivered two two-hour sessions to year 7 and 8 pupils exploring philosophy for kids and looking at how the brain reacts to questions for which there are no conclusive answers.
Discussions proved thought-provoking and students were surprised at the range of opinions within their peers.
They learned how both sides of an argument are valid and must be explored in order to reach a conclusion.
