Star Primary School in Newham, London is an outstanding school that has continually developed. Laughology has been working with its forward-thinking headteacher Lisle Von Buchenroder and last month we helped facilitate a leadership team day for the SLT at the school.
The aim of the day was to help staff focus on development strategies particularly in relation to creating a well and happy school. We focussed on several areas of Laughology education expertise including our Happy-Centred Schools programme and how to create resilience around the school with teachers and children. The day also investigating strategies for building laughter and creativity throughout the school. Delegates left with ideas and plan to implement, and we are looking forward to working with the school further.
