Stafford Police welcomed Kerry Leigh to their first Menopause Awareness sessions with an insightful introduction from a staff member reading out a Senior (male) Officer’s experience of his journey through his wife’s menopause experience, and the challenges they had faced together.
Our successful menopause awareness sessions continue to empower staff and leaders to feel comfortable talking about a subject that has hitherto rarely been discussed in the emergency services, even though there are more women employed in the sector who are working longer.
