FLIP-it Thinking Webinar for CRISIS Support Workers

Victoria Maitland delivered a webinar on FLIP-it Thinking for the homeless charity, CRISIS.

Originally meant to be two face-to-face workshops, it had been designed to cover FLIP and communication skills to prepare service users for a job fair.

But once coronavirus took hold, some rethinking was in order. Victoria is creating exciting and bespoke learning packages that address some of the challenges of using technology for the homeless, and this webinar for support workers was the first step in an exciting new way of working.

The small team was inspired and delighted with the FLIP-it model and feedback showed how it could successfully be put into practise within CRISIS programmes. With an emphasis on building resilience and looking at short-term positive practise to achieve long-term goals, the team are looking forward to the next step in adopting a FLIP-it culture.
