Wellbeing at BNP Paribas

Twelve people were good enough for Jesus, so ten seemed just fine for Lead Happiness Consultant, Dave Keeling, as he was given the pleasurable task of collaborating around the idea of wellbeing with ten graduates from BNP Paribas.

The 90-minute session on FLIP-it Thinking was created to stimulate, challenge and encourage participants to utilise the tips, tricks and techniques our cognitive toolkit offers. Not only for thinking great thoughts, but for taking positive actions in the workplace too.

Interactions flowed throughout, with opportunities aplenty for people to chat, react and comment their way through the four component parts of FLIP, which are: Focus, Language, Imagination and Pattern-Breaking.

Participants also explored areas such as:

  • Psychological safety
  • Magic questions to help you get unstuck
  • The power of words linked to value and purpose
  • The ABC method for future-focused action

Delegates left the session with renewed vigour and confidence, as well as strategies to turn even the wonkiest day into a productive one.

As a reward for his contribution, Dave enjoyed an evening of fish, bread and wine. Well if it’s good enough for Jesus…
