In this webinar Dyslexia is my Superpower, Stephanie explores the basics, with the important message being that it’s about talking to the individuals and checking out what works for them.
Stephanie Davies, Laughology’s Head of Happiness and CEO is dyslexic (a word she finds hard to spell). In this month’s FREE webinar, Dyslexia is my Superpower she asked: ‘Do all differences need to be spelled out for us to be inclusive?’ (excuse the pun).
Over the years, Stephanie has explored neurodiversity from a personal point of view, been a support for her family member with Aspergers, and dealt with biases she has faced because of her dyslexia. Inclusivity is a word we hear a lot. But how inclusive are we if we can’t see differences?
Organisations have a long way to go to be inclusive and ensure everyone feels part of the team. In the webinar Dyslexia is my Superpower, Stephanie explored the basics, with the important message being that it’s about talking to the individuals and checking out what works for them.
Things like hot-desking, corridor chats, and group activities don’t work for everyone. This doesn’t mean we can’t do them, we just need to do a bit more thinking about what else we can do to include everyone.
