As a lifelong football fan, it wasn’t surprising that Sarah Creegan got very excited when she was invited to Stamford Bridge to facilitate a FLIP It Thinking session for Chelsea FC’s Foundation. And the day didn’t disappoint.
The fantastic thing about football folk is that when the person at the front says a rousing “Come on, everybody,” they join in with gusto. The Chelsea lot was no exception.
With the session’s aim to support the team’s own mental health and wellbeing and help them to help others, there was lots of laughter, loads of learning and a great buzz in the room.
So much so that, as they were on the same floor as the directors and owner of the club, they may have been asked to close the door!
