Let’s face it – some days, everything feels like a disaster. The Wi-Fi drops out, someone sends “a quick Teams” that’s actually a 12-slide epic, and your brain is stuck on a loop of “this is too much.”
That’s where FLIP-it Thinking comes in. The OG of Laughology acronyms and toolkits.
It’s our resilience workshop for workplaces and teams that are feeling the pressure of constant change and want to do more than just cope – they want to adapt, grow, and actually enjoy the process.
For teams stuck in a loop of overthinking and overwhelm, FLIP-it helps shift the narrative from “everything’s on fire” to “OK, we’ve got this.”
The FLIP Model
At the heart of this resilience workshop is the FLIP model – a simple, powerful tool to challenge ‘wonky thinking’ and build real resilience. It helps people pause, reflect and reframe the way they see difficult situations.
Here’s what FLIP stands for:
- F – Focus
Emotions matter – but facts do too.
We help your team move from “I feel overwhelmed” to “What’s actually happening here?” By focusing on facts instead of fears, people regain control and clarity.
- L – Language
Words shape reality.
The way we talk about challenges can either shrink them or super-size them. We teach people to spot unhelpful patterns like “always” and “never” and shift to language that’s optimistic, specific… and actually useful.
- I – Imagination
If you can imagine the worst, you can imagine the best.
We show teams how to use imagination not just to problem-solve, but to visualise success and rehearse for resilience.
- P – Pattern-breaking
Old habits = old outcomes.
We help teams break unhelpful behavioural loops and create new, productive ways of thinking, behaving and responding—even when things get messy.
What to Expect
High energy. High impact. Absolutely no death-by-PowerPoint.
Our resilience workshops are interactive, entertaining and grounded in neuroscience. You’ll laugh (a lot), learn (even more), and walk away with practical tools that make a difference immediately – no motivational fridge magnets required.
