Schools, services, police, community people, public and private sectors working together to transform the first years of life for children and their families and increase potential. Sounds like a dream like vision, however this is a real, new and exciting project, led by the Pre-School Learning Alliance and Laughology was honoured to be invited to their collaboration day.
Laughology delivered a half-day programme for all the services involved and helped teams look at how to positively lead change and embed a happy culture as part of their new programme going forward.
Five sites across England funded by The big Lottery Fund will lead on an exciting transformation process that will re-design children and family workforces – that means anyone in a professional capacity from the local authority, hospital, health visitors, GPs and any voluntary sector organisations – will be working together.
Building on already outstanding partnerships created through pre-school alliances innovative and effective integrated model, the vision and programme will focus on the essential elements of a child’s development,
securing the first stage of a journey that will ultimately lead to excellent achievements in school, the development of key life skills and employment opportunities in a wide range of sectors.
