After one attempt was cancelled due to bad weather, a slightly nervous Stephanie finally climbed atop a vintage bi-plane in an airfield near Oxford on July 25th and was lofted into the heavens for a pant-wetting 10 minute white-knuckle brush with death.
Stephanie undertook the challenge with several other colleagues and friends, who named themselves the Wing Nuts, to raise money for charity Act4Africa.
The team had a goal to raise £7000 towards the cost of a new refuge, education and health centre for women in Uganda and have achieved that goal thanks to your help.
